Pagasa

Maybe this is the time we needed. Time to really sit and figure out where we are going in the world. We can actually take the time to self reflect about how life’s been for us. More than that, we can no longer say “I don’t have time” when we have all the time in the world right in front of us. Here and now we can prioritize our time the way we should especially through this worldwide hardship.

Life is so quick we forget to take a breath. With everything that’s been happening in the world, it’s important to let ourselves reflect and pray. We need to stay together as a community while being apart, but it’s okay. Honestly, my mind has been everywhere. I’m someone who’s been multi-tasking while maintaining the work-life balance somehow. If you were to ask me, how do you do it all? My answer is because I do what I love. Right now, it’s weird being home and having time. But, it’s nice being able to reflect, meditate, and give time to create more. I get to sit myself with the feelings that I tucked away, and allowing vulnerability to come thru. Vulnerability - there’s nothing wrong with it. We see it is as a sign of weakness, but when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable we see transparency.

I guess what I really want to let you all know is to stay hopeful. “Pagasa” is a tagalog word meaning hope. I hope that you all will join me in praying for the world. In the midst of it, we need to see that there is something powerful and good coming out of all of this sadness. When this is all over, we need to realize the importance of proper hygiene, spending time with our loved ones, and remembering to care for ourselves over all. I want you guys to know that I’m praying for you all and that I’m so thankful to those who read. I want to let you all know this our time to be vulnerable, while gaining our strength in the process.

Mahal ko kayong lahat. ( I love you all)
