Flowers are like hearts. 

Whenever I’m in the city, I run into places with flowers. I think what truly captures my eyes about them is that each and every one of them are unique in their own special way. I look at flowers and I get a rush of happiness inside of me.  It’s one of God’s most beautiful creations, that is a constant reminder of hope and love for me. 

Think of it this way: flowers are like hearts. From the moment we receive flowers, all we want to do to take care of them in order for them to stay alive. Love works that way as well, in order for it stay alive we must take care of our significant other. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be on top of your significant other every second, but you can shower them with love even with the littlest things. You don’t necessarily have to do such grand gestures on the daily, but allowing your partner to feel loved each and everyday allows them to feel happy. 

When it comes down to it, it’s important that we continue to keep the love flowing constantly. Because just like flowers need water, we need consistency to let the love in our hearts flourish. Flowers to me, are a reminder of how delicate we are and how love truly is. That in order to keep love alive,  we need to take care of it.
