Passion

What's your passion? 

This a question that is often asked amongst others, some may have the answer and others not a single clue. Sometimes we have to take time in finding our passion. It is not something that we can instantly find the answer to, it comes from within. It comes from daily activities and realizing what makes you happy. 

STORYTIME 

I remember myself as a junior in high school, and everyone was talking about their career path. I was very much indecisive of what I wanted to do. But, I knew that I wanted to stray away from the medical field at first. It's funny because the career path I wanted to stray away from is something I'm working to achieve in the long run. 

I've always been passionate about helping others. When I was in high school, I was a camp counselor and I was also a youth group leader and taught children about God. Whenever I gave talks about God, I loved asking the kids questions and their answers always gave me a reason to smile. Surrounding myself with children, allowed me to realize what my calling and passion really is. I love children so much, and I want to impact their lives even deeper. Children make me so happy, it's the way they live their life. They're so happy and cheerful, and they have no worries. As adults, there is so much going on, and we forget to smile and be grateful for the blessings we have in our life. We have a tendency to take life for granted, and forget why we do what we do.  

For me, I'm constantly on the go, always thinking of what I'm going to do next to fulfill my passions. It's all about setting realistic goals for yourself, and giving yourself the opportunity to get to where you need to be in life.  I'll be honest, I truly love what I'm doing now, and I know that there is more experiences ahead. Through every experience, it has allowed me to grow as an individual and the women I am meant to be. 

Always remember it is never too late to chase our dreams and passions. If we want to fulfill our passions, perseverance and a great support system are needed. Our passions lead us to our purpose. I believe we are gifted with many passions. But, it is up to us to discover those passions and put it into work. Don't let anyone ever stop you from chasing your passions. Nothing is impossible, allow yourself to set an open mind to what is to come
